Children's Dentistry

Choosing Your Child’s Dentist is Like Choosing Their Pediatrician
We emphasize the importance of instilling good dental hygiene habits in children at an early age. Their teeth are susceptible to cavities throughout their formative years, for various reasons. They do not brush thoroughly on their own. We encourage parents to be sure they are doing a good job so they develop good habits. They also eat small portions often during the day. Whenever you eat, acid is produced, which can cause more cavities.

Continual acid exposure to teeth that are not cleaned properly will increase the chances and rate of cavity development. We recommend an application of a fluoride varnish as a preventive measure and also encourage better food choices and proper daily cleaning to reduce the occurrence of cavities.
